WHO ARE YOU?
This is the first question that pops into my head when entering a client's home for the first time.
Our latest project was no different and the results answered all my questions. Our client is a hard worker, who loves travelling and collecting. We helped her find a perfect & divine harmony of solutions & decor for her work loft.
CLIENT'S REQUEST:
The client requested a media wall for an upstairs loft/work area; a multi-space to work during the day and at night enjoy her favourite snacks & catch a show or two.
TWENTY-SEVEN|27 ANSWER:
The loft area had the potential to be an intimate and cosy space and once we surveyed it we saw it could hold more than a TV, this space was a chance for us to create MORE with less.
We wanted to stretch the room without moving walls. The solution was a floating console TV unit that would give the room a larger appearance.
Several Storage Ideas Helped to Make a Custom Look.
Starting with the base console a modern IKEA console, we customized a 4-inch wooden plank top, doors and floating shelves to bring the look together.
THE LOOK:
A beautiful ECLECTIC-CLASSIC! The new media wall syncs with the high and low wood tone floor and the old-world charm throughout the house.
I loved the distressed, multi-colour wood laminate floor.

Talking to her gave me the feeling she was a woman in transition in the most wonderful way.
She was moving into a space of her life where she wrote the narrative and told the story of where she'd been and the future of where she was going, all while being in tune with her true self.

We created custom shelves and mounted the 50-inch TV. Then hung the IKEA console and added wood planks for the top and custom doors.
